Home-raised females from an 800-900 head ranch that retains ownership and finishes every calf they raise.
The ranch maintains both spring and fall calving herds.
The spring herd is exposed for just 45 days then the cows are exposed once more to be in the fall program.
The majority of this dispersion successfully raised a fall calf last year and bred back on time.
The maternal program has always emphasized fertility, moderate frame size,
easy-keeping ability, sound udders, and good disposition.
​These are the kind of cows built to stay in the herd for a long time.

There are 8 head of red second-calvers
and approximately 50 head of red and black cows
ranging from about 5 years old to short solid mouth, few cows missing one tooth.
Every cow is in excellent condition and
​looks like she still has productive life ahead.
These cows have been managed in a grazing system
using a single hot wire and are bred to Red Angus bulls.
They have had Endovac and MultiMin.
This is a good, honest set of cows that know how to work
and are ready to go right on into a program.
